"Richard was really exceptional. He was able to explain all the fun and interesting facts about New Zealand. He also participated in the activities with us, which made it a lot of fun because instead of being a tour group and then a guide, it was more just a group of friends having fun. He also knew how to gage each persons abilities and properly selected activities according to the group's skill level." Ileana Castrillo, Top-2-Bottom, November 2003 |

"Richard was AMAZING! He knew the names of everything in nature, including stones?? birds, flowers, trees. I absolutely loved it! He also picked out great trails and knew exactly what we liked, whether it was hiking, biking or kayaking or even bungy jumping or sky diving! He also sensed the food we preferred and made each meal fun with cooking on the "barbie". He was so easy going and we both felt very at ease and comfortable with him - he made the trip unbelievable. You were right... we definitely parted as friends and hated to part at all. We couldn't have had a better person to guide us through your country."
